Guided trip to Chicago, IL, USA including Wilton Master Course.
Course will be given in English by Sandy Folsom and translated simultaneously into Portuguese by Julie Deffense.
The Wilton Master Course is a professional course for teachers, bakers, caterers, chefs, enthusiasts or beginners. Designed to prepare students for a career in cake decorating, this course teaches basic techniques to design and decorate party cakes and ultimately, a fully decorated 3-tiered display wedding cake. Students perform all decorating under close supervision and learn to make 18 flowers and 30 different borders. Class materials are furnished, including Decorating Cakes book, tips, flower nails and decorating bags.
The Wilton Master Course is only available in Chicago, USA, at the Wilton School.

In 2016, for the second consecutive year, Julie Deffense will be the exclusive sponsor for the Portuguese Wilton Master Course trip.
The Wilton Master Course will be taught by Sandy Folsom, managing director of the Wilton School. Sandy has been teaching professional cake decorating classes for over 35 years, 25 of which have been for Wilton Industries. Sandy has promoted the easy and fun techniques of decorating to the general public through her many television appearances including ABC, NBC, FOX news and The Food Network. She has become one of Wilton's local TV corporate media spokesperson appearing on The Food Network's Unwrapped. She is also contributing spokesperson appearing in the video “The History of Wilton – 85th Anniversary Special.”
TRIP INCLUDES:
• Airfare LIS-CHI-LIS
• Transfers to and from the airport to the hotel
• 13 nites accomodation in a two bedroom hotel apartment with kitchenette and living room, breakfast included
• Wilton Master Course (10 days)
• Shuttle to and from the hotel to the Wilton Master Course

*** The price of the trip and course is in Dollars; students may pay in Euros, however the final value in Euros will be adjusted based on the current currency exchange rate on the date of each payment.
NOT INCLUDED:
• Visa/passport
• Personal items such as phone calls, snack bar, laundry, etc.
• Any other product or service not specified as included in the above section.
NOTES:
If you live outside Portugal and wish to travel directly from your own country, you can choose to pay for the trip without airfare/transfers and book your own flight. If you would like to travel from a city other than Lisbon, without the group, please contact Julie to know the price of the package without airfare/transfers.

PAYMENT PLAN AND CONDITIONS:
• You may pay in Euros or Dollars (the final value must be $4240 Dollars; payments in Euros will be adjusted to the current currency exchange rate to reflect the final value in dollars)
• Registration: €100 per student to reserve your place
• Monthly payments, to be coordinated with Julie
• 30% must be paid on or before December 31st, 2015
• 60% must be paid on or before February 15th, 2016
• The remaining balance must be paid on or before March 28th, 2016
• Minimum of 15 students
• If the trip is cancelled by Julie Deffense or the Wilton School, payments will be refunded
• If the student chooses to cancel their registration, they will not be reimbursed any part of their payment
